This vest came from a gap in my wardrobe, and I don’t think there is ever a better reason to knit something than when you are searching online to buy one. I love stripes, I love button throughs, I couldn’t find what I wanted so I made it. It has the most beautiful stripe layout, making it an incredibly engaging knit with so many colour combos available! It is worked top down with shaped shoulders, boxy fit, with the stripes running seamlessly over the button band. It is a timeless summer staple that can be worn as a top and pairs perfectly with jeans, shorts or skirts.

Basic is boring. I’m making knitwear for the fashion girlies who want a piece that will make them stand out and feel amazing without damaging the planet.

I’m done with the neutrals and achromatic colours I see everyone wearing. Everything I do I want to brighten this world with a feminine touch of frills, bows and pretty pastels. Winters are grey enough, our knitwear shouldn’t be.

AGK is all about inspiring and embracing the wonders our hands and minds can create. Everything is slowly made and knitted by hand to order. Creating thoughtful, luxury knitwear that will last and be loved.

Sustainability

Everything we buy has some impact on the planet. I create knitwear whilst trying to minimise the environmental impact by sourcing wool from RWS certified farms and using natural/recycled or biodegradable fibres.

Honesty & Community

Knitting can have such a positive effect on your mental health. Here we share wins, struggles, and support each other so no one feels alone. The internet can feel fake - I promise to be real about my highs, lows, and everything in between.
