Meet the Checked Out Cardi. The cutest gingham chunky cardi you will ever find! Hand-knitted in luxuriously soft 100% merino wool in a buttery yellow and creamy white gingham, and gorgeous blue contrast chain stripes. She is the cutest statement piece and I always get so many compliments in her!

Featuring an oversized, boxy fit, and squishy balloon sleeves and two beautful chain stitch ties to add two adorable bows to the front whilst also being practical. 

This cardi is oversized. If you want a smaller fit drop down a size.

  • Size S is a UK 8/10, to fit chest size 32-34” - Flat cardi measurements: Width - 58cm, Length - 50cm
  • Size M is a UK 12/14, to fit chest size 36-38” - Flat cardi measurements: Width - 64cm, Length - 55cm
  • Size L is a UK 16/18, to fit chest size 40-42” - Flat cardi measurements: Width - 70cm, Length - 55cm

Due to the nature of hand knitted pieces finished measurements may vary slightly.

Materials: 100% Merino Wool sourced from RWS (responsible wool standard) certified farms, which ensure the ethical treatment of animals and protect the land they graze on, and dyed using Oeko-tex standard 100 certified dye (free from harmful chemicals). Merino wool is the softest, butteriest wool. Get rid of those itchy preconceptions of wool, this is the height of luxury.

Care: Do not machine wash/dry or iron. Wool is naturally odour resistant and needs less cleaning than most fibres. You can spot clean with a damp cloth and cool or warm water and pat the area clean and lay it flat to dry. If you do need to wash you can find detailed instructions in the FAQs.

Estimate Delivery: Good things come to those who wait. All orders should be dispatched within 4-6 weeks, hats should be less than this. These are all knitted by hand so during busy times this may move out, but don’t worry I’ll keep you in the loop. Playfulness

Basic is boring. I’m making knitwear for the fashion girlies who want a piece that will make them stand out and feel amazing without damaging the planet.

Colourful

I’m done with the neutrals and achromatic colours I see everyone wearing. Everything I do I want to brighten this world with a feminine touch of frills, bows and pretty pastels. Winters are grey enough, our knitwear shouldn’t be.

Craftsmanship

AGK is all about inspiring and embracing the wonders our hands and minds can create. Everything is slowly made and knitted by hand to order. Creating thoughtful, luxury knitwear that will last and be loved.

Sustainability

Everything we buy has some impact on the planet. I create knitwear whilst trying to minimise the environmental impact by sourcing wool from RWS certified farms and using natural/recycled or biodegradable fibres.

Honesty & Community

Knitting can have such a positive effect on your mental health. Here we share wins, struggles, and support each other so no one feels alone. The internet can feel fake - I promise to be real about my highs, lows, and everything in between.
